Dust off those Goals!!

The first 3 months of 2019 have literally just came and vanished! But I don't want your 2019 Goals to disappear with the rest of this year.

Have you ever set yourself a goal that you have not seen through? The reality is that this happens to (or has happened to) the most of us. A good goal doesn’t need to be lost though.

Depending on what the goal is, at some stage you have made the decision that the goal is something that is important to you and that you want to achieve in the future. Now is as good a time as any to dust off these old goals that have been lingering at the back of your mind.

Begin by asking yourself these questions.

  1. Is the goal still important?

  2. Is the goal still realistic and achievable?

  3. What steps do you need to take to be able to achieve this goal? (List 3 steps)

  4. Who do you need to call/email to answer an important question to get you starting?

Once you have asked these 4 questions you can then ascertain if the goal is still worth aiming for. If you decide that it is, then it’s time to take steps to make it in to a reality. A good way to do this is to write the goal down and divide it in to smaller sub goals. Another thing to do is to put your goal in a place where you can regularly see and review it. Put a copy of it on your fridge door or put a picture of it as a screen saver on your mobile phone or computer… anything you can do to make the goal a part of your every day consciousness is an effective way to keep it alive and real.

What goal would you like to achieve before the year is out? It’s never to late to start again!

The one thing I don't want you to regret is feeling depressed at the end of the year when you realize you are in the same position that you started the year in.

Get those Goals!
